  • Gain hands-on skills in tree climbing, pruning, chainsaw safety and more

NRES 457 / 857 - Green Spaces & Urban Forestry Management (3-credits)
  • Spring semester
  • Lecture only
  • Work with a community on project to improve their parks & urban forests
  • Understand the complexities of natural resources in human dominated environments

NRES 424 Forest Ecology (3-credits)
  • Spring Semester
  • Lecture only
  • The structure and function of forest ecosystems including their response to global change; emphasis on forest succession and disturbance regimes in order to understand the dynamics of forested landscapes.
